Second-Order Conical Relaxation (SOC) Enhancement of the Alternating Current Optimal Power Flow (ACOPF) Problem

We will study the strengthening of the known lower bounds of ACOPF SOC relaxation by adding cycle constraints, using objective-based bound reduction (OBBT) and a spatial branching method. We will evaluate our results by measuring the lower bound, the violation of certain constraints, and the errors of the various approximations, as well as by comparing our solutions to the state of the art.
