Recent advances in optimization based software development

Xpress Optimization Suite is a complete set of tools that helps OR engineers build production-ready software embedding advanced optimization algorithms. This talk will describe the services and platform functions offered by the 4 main components of the suite:

- Insight for rapid application development and deployment

- Workbench, a modern IDE ready for the cloud and collaboration

- Mosel, an enterprise grade programming language

- Optimizer, a set of solvers for a variety of mathematical program.

It is also a good opportunity for us to present the Xpress Community Edition, a free and easy to install bundle of software comprising Workbench, Mosel and Optimizer.
